ASPAS LATE GOAL HOLDS BARCELONA

Image
Celta Vigo forward, Iago Aspas curled home a late freekick to put a dent in Barcelona's title ambition. The former Liverpool man scored a fantastic freekick in a 2-2 draw at Balaidos extending Barcelona's winless run at the venue. It was always going to be a difficult ground  for the defending champions whose last victory at the stadium was in 2015. Barcelona came into the fixture knowing that a slip up could cost them dearly in the title race with arch rivals, Real Madrid playing Espanol a day later. The away side opened the scoring, when Luis Suarez headed home a disguised Messi freekick in the 20th minute and although  Smolov equalised for the home side five minutes into the second half, Suarez restored to lead when he produced a turning finish in the 67th minute. It looks as that goal would secure all three points for Barcelona but Aspas stepped up to curl a brilliant freekick, leaving Ter Stegen no chance in the 88th minute. The draw means Barcelona go a point clear of Rea

Kearns, a 20-year-old student at the University of Nebraska, home from college and living with his parents in Naperville, Illinois before taking his own life. REAL MADRID 3-0 VALENCIA: ASENSIO SCORES AFTER LENGTHY ABSENCE

Both sides pressed each other in the opening exchanges but it was the host who carved an opening in the tenth minute. Benzema cut back finding Kroos whose first time shot was comfortably saved by Cillessen.  The keeper then denied hazard soon after following a quick one-two with Benzema. The clearest chance fell for the visitors though as Moreno's shot hit the woodwork after a quick counter attack. Valencia continued to press and found the net through Moreno in the 21st minute but the goal was ruled out as VAR review showed Maxi Gómez was marginally offside in the build up. The away side finished the first half as the better side as neither teams could find a break through.

IS THIS WHY SAMUEL CHUKWUEZE IS BETTER THAN LIONEL MESSI?(VIDEO)

Image
The 21 year old Nigerian and Villarreal winger has showed glimpses of his dribbling abilities that is very similar to that of the divine Argentine but the question is will he reach the level of the Barcelona number 10? Comparing Chukwueze with a proven legend like Lionel Messi may seem like the most stupid thing to do but there is no denying the fact their aspect of the game look almost the same. Both of them enjoy having the ball and running at defenders.  Chukwueze though really needs to work on his shooting and goalscoring ability if he is truly to be regarded alongside Lionel Messi. BLACK MANAGERS SHOULD BE GIVEN A CHANCE IN FOOTBALL - RAHEEM STERLING

Image
Manchester City's forward Raheem Sterling insists black managers should be given a chance to manage top clubs too like their white counterparts. The England star made the statement while appearing as a guest on the BBC’s flagship political programme, Newsnight, in the wake of anti-racism protests that have taken hold across the world. “This is a time to speak on these subjects, speak on injustice, especially in my field,” said Sterling. “There’s something like 500 players in the Premier League and a third of them are black and we have no representation of us in the hierarchy, no representation of us in the coaching staffs. There’s not a lot of faces that we can relate to and have conversations with. “With these protests that are going on it’s all well and good just talking, but it’s time that we need to have conversations, to be able to spark debates. But at same time, it’s coming together and finding a solution to be able to spark change because we can talk as much as we want abou
